Liams company did a great job for us with no problems and now eradicated the problem we had in our bathroom. Joe knew what and where the source of the problem was and fixed the problem in about 45mins if that. The cost was more than reasonable too.The problem is no longer with us now and would recommend Northwest Plumbing& heating to anyone with any plumbing issues. Also the lads are so easy going and a great set of lads to talk too. Thanks so much most appreciated.

Northwest Plumbing & Heating Ltd is a family run business led by Liam Hipgrave and based in Colne. We provide heating engineer support for domestic and commercial properties, and we also carry out Legionella risk assessments across Lancashire.
Our work is Gas Safe registered for both domestic and commercial jobs. From a routine boiler service to fault diagnosis and full installations, every job is carried out with a focus on safety, clean handovers, and clear pricing.
You deal directly with the owner from the first call through to completion, so communication stays simple and you are never passed between people. We take the time to explain what is needed and why before any work begins.

Yes. A large part of our work is commercial mechanical installation across the North West, and we cover domestic mechanical work too. We are set up to work alongside other trades on commercial sites, and to handle smaller domestic jobs with the same care.
We install threaded iron pipework without hot works, as well as crimped copper and stainless steel systems. Crimped connections are clean and quick to install, which keeps disruption on site to a minimum.

Low pressure is one of the most common boiler issues we get called out for. It is often caused by a small leak somewhere in the system, a faulty pressure relief valve, or radiators that need bleeding. Give us a call and we can diagnose it quickly.
A straightforward like-for-like boiler swap usually takes around one day. A more complex installation, such as a system change or moving the boiler, may take a little longer. We always give you a clear timeframe before we start.

Legionella risk assessments start from £300 plus VAT and are priced per assessment.

For most residential and smaller commercial properties, the on-site inspection typically takes between one and two hours. We then provide you with a full written report and any recommendations.
